  Requirements for insulation mat of power distribution room:

  According to the voltage grade, it can be divided into 5kV, 10kV, 15kV, 20kV, 25kV, 30kV and 35kV;

  According to color, it can be divided into: black insulation rubber pad, red insulation rubber pad, green insulation rubber pad, black green composite insulation rubber pad;

  It can be divided into 2mm, 3mm, 4mm, 5mm, 6mm, 8mm, 10mm and 12mm according to the thickness;

  It can be divided into 1m, 1.2m and 1.5m according to the width.

  Standard configuration of insulation board in power distribution room:

  1. Distribution room below 5kV: 3mm thick insulating rubber mat can be used, and its withstand voltage can reach 5kV. All rooms below 5kV can be used.

  2. 10kV power distribution room: 5mm thick insulating rubber mat can be used, and its withstand voltage can reach 10kV. It is appropriate to use 5mm or more thick insulating rubber mat.

  3. 15kV power distribution room: 6mm insulating rubber mat can be used, and its withstand voltage can reach 15kV. Generally, products of 6mm and above are used in 15kV power distribution room.

  4. 25kV power distribution room: 8mm thick insulating rubber mat can be used, and its withstand voltage can reach 25kV, so 8mm or more thick is suitable for 25kV power distribution room.

  5. 30-35kV distribution room: 10mm~12mm insulating rubber mat can be used, and its withstand voltage is proportional to the thickness.

  The acceptance of domestic power supply bureaus has clear requirements. Insulation pads must be laid in front of and behind the cabinets in high and low voltage distribution rooms. The 8mm thick power frequency withstand voltage test for 10kV in the distribution room will not break down for 10000V1min, and 18000V will break down for 20s in the power frequency withstand voltage test. The voltage of the distribution room is 35kV10-12mm thick, and the power frequency withstand voltage test does not break down for 15000V1min, while the power frequency withstand voltage test does not break down for 26000V in 20s. The low voltage of the power distribution room shall be selected for the power frequency withstand voltage test below 500 V with a thickness of 5 mm without breakdown for 3500 V min, and for the power frequency withstand voltage test at 10000 V for 20 s.

  The insulating board itself has a certain weight, has good ground gripping performance, can be directly paved on the ground, and generally does not need glue to fix; The joint can be cut into a 45 ° inclined cut with a wallpaper knife. After alignment and splicing, it can ensure that there is no obvious gap, which will not affect the appearance and the normal use of the insulating rubber pad. If the appearance is required strictly, it can be connected with a welding gun.

  When should the insulation board be replaced?

  1. The insulation rubber pad shall be subject to power frequency withstand voltage test once a year. When the withstand voltage test fails to meet the standard, it shall be replaced immediately for safety.

  2. The insulation rubber pad should be replaced immediately when it is damaged.

  3. The insulation rubber pad shall be replaced when it is seriously deformed.

  4. The insulation rubber pad should be replaced when the odor is serious. Most of the odor of the insulation rubber pad is toxic gas, and the product should be replaced when the odor is serious.
